Float trips on the Huzzah River

Come on get happy!

Float the Huzzah, and end conveniently back where your car is parked at Ozark Outdoors Riverfront Resort. Choose a 4 mile in any of our boats, or a 10 mile canoe or kayak trip. Access the Huzzah Creek from Scotia or Hwy 8.

The Huzzah Creek has a few more twists and turns than the Meramec float trips, and ultimately merges with the Meramec River. Like most Missouri waterways, the depth of the Huzzah fluctuates. Just as dry land has peaks and valleys, so do Missouri stream-beds. One instant you’re in water to your ankles, and a step later, you could be wet to your shoulders. Water temps change with the intensity of the sun and air temperature.

Rental includes transportation to the put-in location, paddling gear, cushions, and Coast Guard approved PFD’s for most children ages 2 to 11 years old. If you have a child under the age of 2, or if you are concerned about appropriate fit, please bring a personal floatation device for your child with you. PFD’s available for youth 12 and over, and adults, upon request. **Please ask your driver before the van or bus leaves our property.

***In our efforts to help the eco-system, trips leave on top of the hour unless posted otherwise. Help us Go Green!

NO rafts or tubes on Huzzah trips over 4 miles — per management.

All floating guests must sign a liability waiver and get a float ticket to go on the river.

  • Weekend rates apply May-September. Weekday rates will be honored most weekends, October-April, when we are open.
